The يWāq Wāq trees. On the Wāq-Wāq Island, which is an island bordering on Sofalah, one of the Islands of the Zanj, there is a tree bearing fruits that look like women suspended by their hair as if by green cords. They have breasts, female sexual organs, and curvaceous bodies, and they scream ‘wāq wāq’. When one of them is cut off the tree, it falls down dead and does not talk any more. Their insides and outsides, their faces and their limbs, are entirely made of something resembling the down of a feather. ي
Sur l'île de Wāq-Wāq, une île proche de Sofalah, une des îles des Zanj, il y a un arbre qui porte des fruits qui ressemblent à des femmes suspendues par les cheveux comme par des cordes vertes. Ils ont des seins, des organes sexuels femelles, des corps plantureux et ils hurlent ‘wāq wāq’. Quand l'un d'eux se détache de l'arbre, il tombe à terre mort et ne parle plus du tout. Leur intérieur et leur extérieur, leurs visages et le lien qui les tient sont entièrement fait de quelque chose qui ressemble à du duvet.
